Creating your own design  helpful tips

Logos

Downloads of WSU logos, templates and fonts can be found of the Office of Marketing and Communications website. Please review the identity guidelines for appropriate use.

Registered Student Organizations may use their own logos, however, if they use any part of the WSU branding, they must follow the guidelines. If you would like an official university logo, there is a template available.

Content

Make sure you include all of the details:

  • Name of event, date, time and location (if event)
  • Name of organization or department
  • Contact information  can be phone number, email, or website

File specs and sizes for print

Making sure your files are the right size and format speeds up the printing process and ensures high-quality finished pieces.

Unless bleeds are specified, a 0.25" white margin will be printed around the edge for small-format prints (flyers, hot cards, etc.).

File types accepted: PDFs are best. High quality JPGs and PNGs can be used. We cannot accept Microsoft Office files as there are conversion issues.
