Together with the Office of the Registrar and the Division of Computing and Information Technology, we are excited to announce the formation of Campus Reservations services in the Office of Student Center and Campus Reservations.

Along with the continued support of current spaces of the Student Center, McGregor Memorial Conference Center, Community Arts Auditorium, St. Andrews Hall, Gullen Mall, Keast Commons, and the STEM Building, the office will now coordinate reservation and resource services for a set list of general purpose classrooms that have been identified as reservable for non-class events and activities.  These rooms are:

• General Lectures 100 & 150
• DeRoy Auditorium 046 & 146
• Manoogian 0091-African American Heritage Room in addition to multiple seminar rooms (indicated below)
• STEM Innovation Learning Center 020, 024, 027, 029, 112, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601

Student organizations and university departments can now utilize the EMS WebApp to request reservations in the above classroom spaces by selecting "Reserve a General Purpose Classroom for an Event." Non-class events will not be permitted in other general purpose classroom spaces not listed above. External users can contact screservations@wayne.edu for event inquiries.

Scheduling processes for other spaces on campus including departmentally-owned conference rooms have not changed.
 

Helen L. DeRoy Auditorium

The Helen L. DeRoy Auditorium is a two-story windowless steel-frame building featuring tall, narrow gray-cast facades and Gothic arches. The striking building is surrounded by a reflecting pool on all sides, approximately three feet deep by twenty-two feet wide. Guests may enter the building by accessing small bridges.

STEM Innovation Learning Center

Built with emphasis on technology-rich, collaboration, and "science-on-display" spaces, the STEM Innovation Learning Center brings a centralized STEM-focused academic facility to the heart of WSU's campus within steps of chemistry, biology, engineering, and physics buildings, as well as the iconic learning spaces of Science Hall and Old Main. The building which includes almost 100,000 square feet of flexible classrooms, instructional labs, a maker space, and a 3D printing lab, as well as space that serves as a hub for K-12 outreach programming is helping to transform WSU's vision for STEM education and research for current and future Warriors.
