Looking to take a break from studying or need an extra push to finish the semester strong? University departments and student organizations from across campus are collaborating on a full day of activities to help you prepare for the end of the semester. Take some time for self-care and to connect virtually with fellow Warriors! We're offering free food, free crafts, and free tips for success. And if you're on campus, look out for some sweet treats.

In support of our Social Work Wellness Program, we invite Social Work students, faculty and staff to join us for this Yoga Wellness Series hosted by Caitlin Brown from Mindful Detroit. This series will be held twice weekly on Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 - 12:30 pm beginning November 9, 2020 to March 10, 2021. It is open to all skill levels and will launch with seated yoga and relaxation and gradually progress to mat yoga.

It doesn't matter if you are doing wonderfully during this time, need additional support, are an artist or one that thinks they can't draw a straight line. Join a VIP peer mentor that will host a drawing session.  You can either use the PDF which will be posted to color, or if you would like to free flow and draw it with instruction, you will be guided. Those participating will need a pencil, paper, an eraser, or whatever medium they prefer for coloring (watercolors, colored pencils, or even shading with a pencil).  There will be music in the background and it will be a relaxing environment to socialize, vent, or just spend time together.

Residential students will have their paint kits logged as a package at the front desk; non-residential students can pick up kits between 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Towers Café.  Kits include a canvas, paint pots with paint, and a paint brush.  Join on Zoom at 8:30 p.m. to paint a masterpiece.
