- Student Center and Campus Reservations Student Center and Campus Reservations is your source for university-related information, support and programs. Just a few of the services provided include campus directories and maps, faxing, copying, flyer posting, lamination, State Hall locker rental, lost and found, vending machine refunds and rental payments.
- Digital Sign Promotions
The Student Center Administration offers free event promotion space on the digital signs and directories in the building. Student organizations and departments can submit art using an online form.
- Dining Options Food Court
The Student Center food court on the first floor features a Panda Express, Starbucks, Taco Bell and Towers Cafe Express. Please visit dining.wayne.edu for updated hours and offerings.QuicklyIn the Lower Level, you can stop by Quickly Cafe. Quickly serves a wide variety of delicious bubble tea drinks (milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, and snows/smoothies). Picture of a OneCard The OneCard kiosk is located on the first floor between Midtown Market and the center stairwell. This kiosk is available for use whenever the Student Center is open. - Television Lounges
Televisions are located throughout the building. There are televisions offering Direct TV service on the lower level, first and second floors near the center stairwell.
- Gaming
The Student Center operates two gaming areas in the lower level of the building. The original game room includes billiards, ping-pong and board games. The newly added Esports facility is also located on the lower level and has 20 gaming stations for students to enjoy.
Game Room Information
The game room (separate from the ESports Facility) contains 5 billiards tables, 3 ping pong tables, a TV, RockBot music software, and scattered high-top tables. The Game Room is available to all currently enrolled WSU Students.
Students must present an active OneCard for entry into the space. Student Center staff will hand out the necessary equipment and assign users to a table. Time is limited to 90 minutes per table, though time can be extended if no one is waiting in line to use the space. Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment if desired.
All students must check in with at the game room desk prior to using the space. Student Center staff will hand out equipment. All equipment is cleaned after it is returned and tables are sanitized after use.Image of gaming stations E-Sports Information
The E-Sports facility boasts 20 state-of-the art Alienware computers with ggLeap LAN Center Software, Logitech mouse/keyboard/desk mat combos, and custom WSU Zipchair gaming chairs. Three additional console-ready TVs complete the space. Available games include Fortnite, COD: Warzone, Overwatch, Dota 2, League of Legends, and more.
The ESports Facility was designed with both the experienced gamer AND new-to-gaming students in mind. It is staffed by the Student Center and supported by Computing & Information Technology, ensuring the care for the space and equipment while providing new and exciting opportunities for Wayne State students.
Any currently-enrolled Wayne State University student can visit the ESports Facility and start gaming. Students must always have an active OneCard to enter the space, and in addition students must sign a policy-agreement once per academic year. From that point forward simply show your OneCard and you will be assigned to a computer! Students using the computer stations are allotted 90 minutes of game time upon entering the facility, though time can be re-upped in 60 minute increments if there is no one waiting to use a computer. Headphones are not provided, so students are encouraged to bring their own.

- Banking
A Chase Bank ATM is located on the first floor between Mad Anthony's and the center stairwell. It is available for use whenever the Student Center is open.
Comerica Bank ATMA Comerica Bank ATM is located on the first floor between Mad Anthony's and the center stairwell. It is available for use whenever the Student Center is open.
- Wireless Network
The Student Center has wireless Internet access throughout the majority of the facility. All guests may connect to WSU-Public and will be required to agree to terms and conditions. Guest with a valid AccessID and password are encouraged to utilize the WSU-Secure network.
- Reflection Room
There is a newly-expanded, multi-faith, non-denominational Reflection Room located on the third floor of the Student Center. This room is not reservable and is open for all to use. Outside the Reflection Room there are two ablution rooms for student use.The Reflection Room and the ablution rooms are available anytime the Student Center is open.
- Lost and Found
The Student Center coordinates the lost and found center for much of the Wayne State University campus. Found items can be turned in to our information desk, located on the first floor of the Student Center. To inquire about a lost item, stop by the information desk or call us at 313-577-0295.
- Infant Changing Tables
The Student Center Administration provides public infant/child changing tables in the public restrooms on floors Lower Level through 3rd floor.
- Lactation Room
In January 2023, the Student Center established a new Lactation Room for the campus on the 3rd floor in room 344. Lactation Rooms are specifically for nursing mothers to breastfeed or express milk. The rooms cannot be reserved for any other purpose. Only one person may use the room at a time. The Student Center's Lactation Room is open during regular building hours. Door is lockable from the inside. The room is equipped with a chair, side table, sink, and changing table.
